Nutmeg Healthcare Recruiters, LLC is a healthcare consulting firm specializing in executive search, placement, and market analysis. Each of our consultants has over fifteen years of experience in executive search and brings a unique set of skills, education, and professional background to our search assignments. Debora began her professional career in the trenches as a hands-on clinical social worker in the psychiatric emergency department at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She later focused her clinical career on the treatment of anxiety. Perhaps not surprisingly, this clinical experience later proved instrumental in establishing her successful track record of carefully and comfortably shepherding clinical and administrative leaders through the complex decision-making process inherent in a career transition.
Debora transitioned from the clinical world to the business world in 2000, launching her search career in the fast-paced environment of New York City with The Execu|Search Group, where she was trained and mentored in the recruitment process within healthcare. Her primary focus was providing healthcare recruitment services for leading managed care and insurance companies during the years when nurses began playing a critical role in healthcare insurance decisions.
After 9/11, Debora left NYC and joined up with Merck leading pharmaceutical sales in Fairfield County, CT. She returned to The Execu|Search Group in 2004, spearheading the successful expansion of its healthcare division in a new branch office in Westchester County, NY, focusing on servicing clients north of New York City and in Connecticut.
In 2007, Debora launched Nutmeg Healthcare Recruiters with the support of a precious handful of dedicated clients. Staying true to her values of excellence and integrity, she has grown her consultant team to include only highly educated, professional consultants.
Debora earned her MS in Social Work from Columbia University in 1996 and her BA in Psychology from Binghamton University in 1994. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and their family.

Robert Accomando, Esq.

Robert Accomando, Esq. is a principal and co-founder of Nutmeg Healthcare Recruiters. Robert leads Nutmeg's consulting team responsible for nurse leader, physician, and physician assistant recruitment and personally oversees C-Suite and similar higher-level searches for its acute care and continuing care clients.
Robert began search consulting in 1999 for The Solomon Page Group in New York City. He continued to provide related consulting services while maintaining an active transactional and commercial law practice. Having successfully negotiated thousands of complex business challenges in both his legal and consulting careers, Robert is uniquely qualified to bring together high-level candidates and their prospective healthcare employers in a manner that is professional, detail-oriented, and abundantly confidential.
Robert is the author of "Top Five Secrets To Hiring The Best Healthcare Employees Without Breaking The Bank," a guide for Human Resource professionals and other industry leaders to help better prepare their interview teams for the candidate review process. Robert is also the author of "Interview Hacks For Physician Assistants," an interview preparation guide for advanced practice providers and other healthcare professionals.
Robert earned his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1992 and was admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. Robert earned his Bachelor's in Political Science from SUNY New Paltz in 1989. He currently lives in Connecticut with his wife and their family.
